I got a quote today on a 7300 (30 hp)...gear drive, 4wd, live PTO for $10,500...which surprised me as being much lower than the big brands. Grader blade-$450; FEL-$3500; Tiller-$2200; Rotary cutter-$800; finish mower-$1750. How does this sound? Does less money mean less tractor?

ggman,

I paid 12,800 for my TC29, manual tranny, live pto, folding ROPS and deluxe 3ph. I've seen them as low as 11,700 (advertised, and from talking to other people). A dealer is advertising one on traderonline.com for 11,750. I bought it because I like the dealer; I'm not sorry.

For implements, I haven't heard much bad about the King Kutter line (others' experience may vary); their 3ph finish mowers are about $1,000; tillers in the $1,000-$1,200 area.
